Our business has made agreements with the afrodescendants communities of the Colombian Pacific litoral, the same as with other inland communities of our country, with the purpose of, through the development of associative projects, exploiting the natural resources, abundant in this region, especially tropical woods. These projects are supported by local authorities, which, at the same time, are responsible of putting in force the laws regarding the conservation of the local environment and of the sustainable development of the region. These laws must be strictly respected by the firms operating at the region.
In order to comply with the environmental legislation , all of the projects pretending taking advantage of the natural wood resources of the region must define first an environmental managing plan, which must be approved by local authorities and which must guarantee that both, the communities owners of the wood resources, and the associated international trading business assume the compromise of making a rational, technical, responsible, and sustainable exploitation of these resources.
Both, Advanced International Business, I.C., and the communities of the region with which we carry out the development of the associative projects, are conscious of our responsibility concerning this environmental conservation. We carry out all of our activities taking in mind the welfare of the current and future generations. In this sense, reforestation is one of our main activities, and the communities of each region decide the way in which this reforestation must be done, so that their environment is preserved for them and for their descendants.
We guarantee to our clients woods more than 25 years old, according to the specifications ordered by them.
Prices depend on the species, specifications, and added value ordered by our clients.
The wood will be dispatched through the Cartagena and Buenaventura ports, according to the agreements between the parts.
We are also interested in other ways of commercialization, such as joint venture agreements, which enable us to get capital resources and a state-of-the-art technology, useful to improve our commercial activities.
